Understanding and Using Newsgroups
VSNL Specific Newsgroups

At VSNL, special newsgroups have been created. These all fall under the vsnl. hierarchy. What makes these newsgroups different, though, is their scope. Unlike most newsgroups, such as rec.humor.funny, messages posted to vsnl. newsgroups will not propagate themselves worldwide. It will stay on the news.vsnl.net.in server.

Take a look at the newsgroups available at VSNL, which all start with vsnl.. Take a look at them in your newsreader. Currently, the only VSNL specific newsgroup is vsnl.feedback.internet. Feel free to post your comments about VSNL's internet service here.

Hopefully in the future, we can look forward to many more newsgroups, perhaps even some aimed at supprt, a vsnl.guide. branch.
